Monday, April 9 | 7-9 PM, Sudbury Police Department Community Meeting Room
Join us from 7 to 8 PM for an enlightening session with Chief Nix and his dedicated public safety team! They’ll discuss their vital role in supporting and protecting the youth of Sudbury, particularly students with disabilities. Bring your questions and thoughts—this is your chance to engage directly with the team!
Following the presentation, we will continue the conversation with our Complex Learning Profile Connections, Social Emotional Connections, and Out of District Connections groups from 8pm to 9pm. We look forward to seeing you there! (Registration Required)
Autism Connections Group Featured Event:
"The Power of Affirmation: Nurturing Neurodivergent and Gender-Diverse Kids" Co-Hosted with Sudbury Pride & Commission on Disability
Tuesday April 15 | 7PM, Goodnow Library
Join us for an evening of thoughtful conversation with Rebecca Minor a licensed social worker and gender specialist. Rebecca will share a talk about loving and affirming our neurodivergent kids of any gender. This event is part of Sudbury SEPAC's Parent Connections programming and is co-sponsored by Sudbury Pride and the Commission on Disability in honor of Autism Acceptance Month. All community members are welcome to attend this free event! (Registration Required)

ADHD/Executive Functioning Connections
This group is geared toward caregivers who have a child diagnosed with ADHD or have questions regarding their child’s attention, hyperactivity, impulsivity, executive functioning, or working memory. Children may be part of Sudbury Public School or attend a private school. Hosted By: Andrea Kraemer

Complex Learning Profile Connections
This group is geared toward caregivers who have a child with a complex learning profile. This can include children who are diagnosed with a rare syndrome or neurological impairment, sensory disability (vision, hearing, deaf-blind), developmental delay, intellectual disability, sensory processing or language disorder, health condition (epilepsy, diabetes, sickle cell anemia, etc.) Hosted By: Amy Ackerson
Literacy Challenges Connections
This group is geared toward caregivers who have a child diagnosed with or have questions regarding their child’s literacy. This can include a language-based learning difference, auditory processing disorder (APD), dyscalculia, dysgraphia, dyslexia, apraxia, aphasia, dysarthria, general education reading support, or other literacy and language challenges. This group is geared toward caregivers who have a child aged 2.9 - 6 years old enrolled in preschool. Your child may have a diagnosis, have received early intervention services, or currently having challenges. Social Emotional Challenges Connections
This group is geared toward caregivers who have a child diagnosed with or have questions regarding their child’s social-emotional growth.
